About the Project
TDX Power is a subsidiary of Tanadgusix Corporation, Inc., a shareholder-owned Aleut Alaska Native village corporation founded in 1973. In 2006, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) granted TDX Power a three year preliminary permit under Section 4 (F) of the Federal Power Act (FPA) to study the proposed 330-megawatt (MW) Chakachamna Hydroelectric Project. The proposed project would be located at the existing Chakachamna Lake on the Chakachatna River in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska.
